I am Gemma, a born and bred Lancashire lass who now lives in Cheshire with my husband, Mike. I am fun-loving, positive, caring and passionate about everything I do. I love to get to know people and their life stories and I love LOVE!

My passions are: travel, the outdoors and a good country pub, things I do as often as I can!

I am creative and in my earlier years you would have seen me treading the boards in school plays, singing in choirs, dancing on many dancefloors and being the advice-giver to my closest family and friends (this is still a role I assume!). I love nothing more than listening to an eclectic music playlist, going to the theatre, meeting friends for a brew and planning my next adventure near or far! Being a huge foodie, I often find inspiration from my travels to inspire weird and wonderful concoctions.

My job as a primary school teacher of 10 years, requires energy, empathy and the building of close relationships (something I am good at!). I love to teach children and learn from them every day. This keeps me young at heart!

I am warm, very well organised, a great multi-tasker and have well-honed presentation skills, all of which I believe are the key traits needed to be a wedding celebrant.

Shining through all of my carefully crafted scripts is humour and thoughtfulness, with you at the heart! I write and perform wedding ceremonies, commitment ceremonies and vow renewals. My scripts are bespoke to your love story and I can’t wait to help you to share this with your nearest and dearest on the most special day of your life!

I will work closely with you to include all elements you want, such as, ring warming, sand rituals, special songs, poems, readings to name a few… to make the day perfect for you!
